Supernatural Travel in Egg Harbor

This is a story that cemented my faith that anything is possible when you walk with the Lord. During our anniversary trip to Door County in June of 2023, we stayed at Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor. The resort is located on the top of a steep hill with a bird's eye view of Green Bay. When we arrived, we decided to explore Door County to get a "lay of the land" and check out the sites we may want to explore in the days ahead. We returned to Landmark Resort a couple of times during that day, so we learned to navigate the roads around the resort and were very aware of the five-way intersection at the bottom of the steep hill we had to ascend to get to the resort. This road was called Hillside Trail. It was a steep incline, easy to distinguish between the continuation of Horseshoe Bay Rd that was a decline along the shoreline. Very easy to distinguish due to the severe change in elevation at that intersection. With that, we start the story that changed our beliefs on how God could watch over us in times of need. That night after returning from dinner and sightseeing, it was very dark. We stopped at the five-way stop and then proceeded our way up the steep incline on Hillside Trail. As we traveled up the steep incline there were three young people riding their bicycles down the hill with their headlights turned on. My wife commented that their parents may be worried because it was dark and they did not have helmets on. We also commented that they should be careful due to the steep grade and no shoulder on the side of the road. As we passed them, I looked in my side view mirror and declared: "That's strange, I didn't see them or their lights in the mirror." Now we were both focused on seeing the restaurant sign that would indicate our resort entrance was next. We traveled forward expecting to see the restaurant sign but neither of us saw the sign. We traveled on and on and then realized we had to turn back because we obviously must have passed by the restaurant and resort. Keep in mind that we never turned, we traveled without making any turns. We stopped our car in an open sandy area and decided to turn back. My wife got on her phone GPS to navigate our way back to the resort and said we had to make a right turn to get back. I said that we should go back the way we came. No turns. On the way back we never passed the resort or restaurant sign, but we did return to the five-way stop. We were on the Horseshoe Bay Rd! That is simply impossible to explain! The only way we could have ended up on that road is by the Lord transporting us to that road after we passed the bicyclists that were riding down the hill. We believe that we may have been in harms way and the Lord seamlessly moved us, the 3500-pound car, to the lower Horseshoe Bay Road. We tell this story to our close friends and family. Some believe us and some don't, but we believe and have faith in the power of God. Nothing is impossible with Him. See the enclosed map below that helps explain our supernatural travels that night.
